More Hate Productions presents the elenventh album by this one-man studio project from Donetsk. For over a decade HAISSEM has remained on the radar screens of black metal fans, systematically reminding them it is far from creative stagnation. During this period the project got a stock of songs that for some reasons hadn’t fitted the concept of one or another album and were put aside until the right time. And the right time is now. This album is made up of such songs. As for the music, Andrey Tolok presents his hardline, shoot-from-the-hip metal, incorporating the best features of HAISSEM throughout its entire discography with a vibe right from the 90s - the most intense period of formation of the genre itself. Aggressive and unhuried ‘The Origins Of Spineless Flesh’, bonecrushing ‘...And The Dark Spills Spells’, sounding like Marduk meets Morbid Angel, meditative ‘Coalescense’ with a catchy chorus and indirectly reminding of early Gehenna, smashing and straightforward like a construction level ‘From The Embedded Subliminal’ and, finally, magical and captivating closer ‘A Phantom Infection’ with well-placed keys a la ‘Filosofem’ by Burzum and gregorian chants. The fans of the genre will definitely and absolutely enjoy ‘Pure Devil As Thou Art’.
