It is so good there are bands that seem to have gotten into a time machine, returned to the starting point of MDM and began their musical journey from that point in time. This is the first thought that comes to mind when you listen to the debut full-length album by CROW N STEEL. The project was formed by Alexander Voronov and Belf. After leaving Stigmatic Chorus, the musicians decided to continue their cooperation in a new band. The line-up was competed by Pavel Zhdanovich (guitar) and Andrey Ishchenko – the drum maestro himself! Oh, yes, it is heard from the very first minutes: That is exactly what it is! Good old MDM, performed with enthusiasm and pure desire to support the genre, and most importantly, to give it a new creative breath. As a result, we have a solid melodic death metal album with the telling title – ‘The Rise’, where MDM, Black and Power Metal inclusions are intertwined in the most brutal frenzy, where every metalhead will find something for himself, something purely personal.
