More Hate Productions presents the CD release of an album by POLOSKANUS (Belarus). Despite the queer name, POLOSKANUS is not a grind core band. It is a yet little-known band playing a combination of melodic death metal and post black metal. This full length album consists of eight songs recorded between 2021 and 2023. Almost all guitars were recorded by Robert Yenotovich — the composer of the band. He also did the vocals together with Sergey Zhdan (Sagotorium, Venom Symbiote) - another permanent member of the project. The album features guest appearance from Dmitry Vasilkov (Travvma (post black metal)), who recorded guitars and vocals for "Rassvet" (the Dawn) and "3:33". The music performed by POLOSKANUS is intended not only for post black metal audience, but also for the fans of melodic death metal and dark metal in general. The band is not confined to any particular genre - the musicians use different types of extreme vocals, arrangements and elements untypical for death and black metal.
