All Black (full-length, 2019) is a new stage in development of PITCHBLACK. It looks like the band has remained a trio long enough to reach the golden ratio, bringing flammeous harmony to their music. For the first time you can enjoy live drums recorded by Nick MyVenom at RMS studio owned by Alexey Martin, and at the studio owned by Arkady Navaho. Bass was recorded by Mechanix – it is his first live appearance on PITCHBLACK recordings. Extreme, clean and rock vocals here were performed by Katrin Child. She also recorded all guitars – some solos and even parts of songs were pure improvisation (for example, the solo on "Ok, Go Away!"). Hopelessness and powerless morbid exhaustion on a remote plateau on Mercury, loneliness and dismay in the cosmic cold – this is only a small part of the mood of the album. The songs explore such themes like betrayal, lobotomy, balancing on the verge between life and death, existence and non-existence. Hatred and aggression, destroying us from within like an acid, impulses to self-destruction and self-awareness – things we can discuss for a long time and never reach a consensus. "All Black", conceptually based on Howard Phillips Lovecraft-s The Call of Cthulhu, is essentially a pure act of impressionism – a canvas mixing all shades of black, because you must remember, that “<...>when you look long into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you.” (F. Nietzsche).
