Following the recording of their new album "The Last Stage of Transformation" BLACK SHADOW immediately commenced the re-recording of their debut - "Doomsday". The original print of the album recorded and released back in 2004 and sold out almost in no time at all has become a rarity. At the request of fans the band decided to re-release the debut in a better quality and format. This release is a careful piece of work. Many songs were slightly improved both music- and lyricswise. Several guitar riffs were modified as well. Some lyrics were either changed or rewritten from scratch. The only thing that remained unaltered is the Intro recorded by Morbid — the former member of the band — as it still fits the atmosphere and the sound of the album. Album artwork has also been renovated. "Doomsday" was recorded in Oborin Production studio. It’s a true example of fast, furious yet melodic black metal characteristic of the early days of BLACK SHADOW - the band that over the years has achieved iconic status among the fans of the genre.
