"V Império (A Batalha dos Reinos)" (V Empire (The Battle of the Kingdoms) is a concept EP dedicated to the history of ancient Lusitania (Portugal) - the Middle Ages, fairytales, legends and mythology of this ancient European country. It is a magical mystery tour to the kingdom of enchanting and melodic medieval folklore, with a catchy zest added by Kevin MacLeod - a North American composer and international musician, who composed almost all music for this EP. The album was recorded during the lockdown periods in 2020 and 2021. Some musical pieces were composed and performed by Per Kiilstofe from Canada in liaison with Sacerdos Magus (priest-sorcerer) - the founding member of the band, who is in charge of the lyrical concept, samples, sound effects, arrangements, mixing, production, and the general ambience of the project. Album cover art is the picture by Jaime Martins Barata known as "Batalha dos Atoleiros" (1966) - the Atoleiros battle (1384) between Portuguese forces and the punitive expedition from Castile (Spain) won by the significantly outnumbered Portuguese troops.
