The third album in discography of this power metal quartet from Kursk (Russia) demonstrates that the band moves towards a more modern, heavy and aggressive sound. Both trending low guitar tuning and groovy riffs are in place here, however the melodies characteristic of Chame-Leon have remained in the foreground. It is not an easy task to describe the style of this album. Catchy canorous melodies in the vein of the best German-school power metal gems are dashingly enriched with modern core arrangements, while the trademark vocals sound monumental and epic. New young guitarist refreshed the sound of the band, broadened its stylistic diversity and prepared the ground for upcoming musical experiments. “C.O.D.E." is a concept-based opus where a good half of material is tied to a common idea. This album is dedicated to human relations developing within digital devices and gadgets rather than originating from heart. The name of a title instrumental track speaks for itself!
