MORE HATE PRODUCTIONS RUSSIAN UNDEGROUND METAL LABEL

The debut album by a Russian dark metal band ARS NOCTURNA is dedicated to human superstitions. The album shows how far can blind belief in signs and deification of senseless characters bring a person. The release can be divided into two parts: the first part deals with mythology, the second part describes the way it is turned into a weapon. On this CD the band plays dark metal based on tough guitar riffs and bombastic oriental melodies with some black metal elements. As a result the intense music of the album is charged with emotions and atmosphere. The lyrics are dedicated to rituals, gods, legends about afterlife and violence committed in the name of some “superior” purpose beyond understanding... The CD ends with a cover version of a song originally performed by Swedish black metal band Dark Funeral.
